Two very good reasons to buy a FCU. 1- you have plenty of spare SIG pistol parts and may only need a FCU for complete pistol. 2- you want a pistol exactly to your specific wants as no single pistol sold is always perfect as is to everybody's desires. Lock the slide in proper position / alignment, then you should be able to wiggle the locking insert into the frame. Put it in release position and take the slide off and put the spring back in the slide, and voila should go on like butter. Hope that helps!!!
